Our Goal | Challenge:
We are thankful to the Mohsin and Fauzia Jaffer Foundation for their generous donation of USD $500,000 towards the construction of our Ghusl Khana facilities. The passing away of a loved one is one of the hardest times anyone has to face. As a community we cannot take away the pain of the loss the family feels. However we can and will offer the support they need by providing a welcoming space within which they can take all the time they need to mourn and grieve their lost ones. The Funeral Parlor (Ghusl Kafan) facility is more than double the size of our current facility. It will include a separate wet room & dry room, cold body storage, a private family room, office, kitchenette and shower facilities. The facility will also include a separate Administrators office & multi bedroom living/caretaker facility.
